As you would expec from Ihop. The food is pretty good and the service was good too. It is the only IHOP in glen burnie so we go there every now snd then. There are the time when they are really busy and you may have to wait but it not that long usually so its not that bad.

Anyone who wants proof of the "graying of America" should come here for dinner. At 5. Blue hair and walkers everywhere. The place is kept relatively clean and the food is adequate and plentiful. It's a bog-standard IHOP, more or less. The staff manages to stay friendly and was quick with napkins and towels when our little projectile-vomiter let loose all over the booth. Extra tips all around!

Came here for breakfast at breakfast time, what a novel idea. Was greeted at the door and 5 seconds later guided to my table. It was a quiet Monday morning, I was the third guest at 7:30AM? My waitress promptly came to my table to get my drink order. You can tell this I-Hop has been here since the dawn of man, dingy dim lighting from medieval looking sconces and chandeliers, dingy carpet, worn tables and booths. I love pancakes and so I ordered my usual pick-a-pancake breakfast. Like many I've never been a fan of the fruit compote it's more like sweet colored slime and detracts from the true flavor of good pancakes. So I always tell them only butter on top, and I always ask for a small bowl on the side so I can pour hot syrup into it and dip my pancakes as I keep them so they don't become mush from all the syrup. My pancakes with perfect , but my over easy eggs were over medium and crispy around the edges and and they must have come from a large pygmy pigeons because there's no way they were large chicken eggs. But the biggest sin was that the nice thick bacon slices were overcooked that it was more like rawhide instead of chewy crispy bacon it should have been, so the Yum factor was missing. By the time I left at 8:15 breakfast business was booming as there were a grand total of 5 customers. So much to my disappointment, even though I expected it, this I-hop offers absolutely no discounts to military or to seniors. This location looks like it's dying so that could be the reason that this is the first I-Hop I've come acrossed that has eliminated the discounts. I don't think I will ever step foot in this place again, the food is mediocre and why the pancakes were good the rest really sucked. Oh and when I left at 8:15 there where only 5 customers

It's IHOP. Not 5-star, not classy. Just feel-good grub on the cheap in a standard diner-esque setting. That being said, my husband and I have eaten here a few times, and LOVE it. Food--fresh, hot, and tasty. Service--always friendly, attentive, and accurate. Caveat: we've only gone late at night, on weekends. Reading others' reviews, we'll stick to other places for breakfast food AT breakfast time. But, if it's late and you're hankering for some good ol' cakes'n'eggs, head here. :)

The staff here is excellent. The service is very good and I have never had any issues with my order. I would very much recommend this location to other diners.

Can't complain about this IHOP. I've been here quite a few times. Even on their busiest days, food always comes out fast and as I asked for it, and the service is just fine. Big portions for the prices, too!

Our family decided to have breakfast for dinner since we had a very long day at the hospital. Our daughter loves pancakes! I ordered the pancakes with scrambled eggs and hash browns. My husband had the waffle and scrambled eggs. Our daughter had little pancakes and eggs. She is usually a very picky eater and surprisingly she ate her eggs tonight. I must admit my expectations weren't high for dinner here so I was pleasantly surprised when it actually turned out to be good. Our server Ashley was very nice and tentative. I liked her. The only flaw that could say was that my tea was very very sweet. Not sure if too must syrup and not enough water was dispensed in my tea.

Sometimes you just want pancakes and coffee and that means IHOP. Pancakes in many styles are their specialty, but breakfast of any type is what they do. They have also branched out into salads and sandwiches, so really anyone can find something to eat there. I enjoyed scrambled eggs with avocado and salsa last time I was there, and my wife had a BLT. This Glen Burnie location is easy to find sandwiched between Rt 2 and Rt 3. Great service, good food, easy drive. Win.

Nice staffs but the food was terrible. My strawberries and blueberries toppings on my pancakes and crepes were frozen and hard. Then, my eggs were not really medium over easy but tasted like hard boiled. I wish next time that they look into the food if it is all right before they serve it. You can smell the awful smell of the outdated of this restaurant. It was not appetizing dining to me. It made me want to get out fast.

Stopped in tonight after our usual night of bowling over at Ritchie Lanes. It was your usual IHOP experience, no more and no less. We did have to find our own silverware, as apparently our server forgot to give us any; one star off for that one. We both had omelets (the Love of My Life a cheesy Western, a spinach/tomato/onion for me) - excellent in texture and taste, but the accompanying pancakes were a bit dry. We had to use almost the entire pitcher of syrup on them, which is VERY unusual for us. I miss the option of the hot flavored syrups IHOP used to provide in the 70's, sigh... sometimes progress isn't a good thing. Bathrooms were clean and well-kept, so a definite plus. Location was actually pretty decent as far as upkeep. Other than the misstep with the silverware, our server was nice and very attentive. The overhead music was a bit off-putting, though. Cheesy 70's love songs? I felt like I was in a cheap, meat-market style bar. Eeesh. Still, an okay experience. This actually deserves a 3.5 rating.

We came in here with a group of 7 around 2AM. We were seated immediatley and our orders taken promptly after that. All our food came out fresh and hot, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I had the steak and eggs and it was cooked perfectly how I wanted it (mid-rare). Customer service was divine! One of the better IHOPs I have visited.

IHOP. They serve breakfast...ALL DAMN DAY!! I am a FAN of breakfast. This one is one of the cleaner IHOP's I have been to. Even the bathrooms were not in bad shape. I judge a lot about a restaurant by it's bathroom. I always feel that if you will let me see your bathroom and it is in really bad shape the kitchen is sure to be scary! My daughter and I had the Colorado omelet. A nice 3 egg omelet with bacon, sausage, pot roast, onions, green peppers, cheese, and god knows what else. It is always amazing. On the side they give you 3 pancakes; as if the omelet that is slightly larger then my head is not enough. I subbed the pumpkin pancakes for the regular. They are so good it will soon be illegal to eat them. Our server was the sweetest thing but she was slow and forgetful. We waited until another server checked on us to get silverware. The coffee was so-so; pretty much what you expect for a breakfast chain. Go and get your own Colorado Omelet.

Maybe my standards are too high, but I don't think I can eat fake fruit compote anymore. That blueberry-ish and strawberry-ish goo just doesn't cut it when you're used to the real deal. So the food here is really two stars (really, "meh" about sums it up), but the price is right, so I really can't complain about too much about it. I bumped it up to a three for a couple of reasons... First, although this place is a zoo on weekends, they do a good job of managing the queue and clean tables quickly to get the next party in. Also, our waitress was incredibly friendly and efficient. Perhaps most importantly, they leave a carafe of hot coffee on the table for you, so you never have to wait for a refill. That's just plain civilized. I'm sure there are plenty of IHOPs that aren't as well run as the Glen Burnie location, so in my book, that warrants and A-OK from me.

After a bad Ihop experience about 5 years ago, I decided to give this restaurant chain another chance. What I got was a confirmation on why I stopped going to Ihop in the first place. After 25 minutes of waiting for a table, it took another 15 minutes just to get a pot of coffee. The waitress was new and was obvious she didn't have adequate training as she couldn't answer simple questions about food substitutions. That aside, after we ordered, it took about 20 to 25 minutes to actually get our food. I had a breakfast combo with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns and half waffle. All of the food was luke warm to cold. It was apparent that while our waitress was walking around, our food was sitting atop a counter somewhere unattended. Second issue: a hair in my hash browns. I don't have to say that this is completely digusting. While waiting for the waitress to come back, I had eaten a sausage and bacon strip (which were cooked well albeit cold). Finally they attempted to do the right thing and replace our meal with a hot and hairless plate. When it came out, the food was indeed hot, but the quality in other places had suffered. The eggs were dense and reminded me of the first time I made eggs. The bacon was floppy and my waffle was soggy. The worst of it all, they had actually removed a strip of bacon and sausage instead of just replacing the dish in its entirety. Keeping the customer happy, instead of nitpicking, was not their priority. Overall, worst breakfast I have ever had. If I could give this place zero stars, I would have. Never going back again.

The service was incredibly slow. It was so slow that we had to ask the server to bring the food out as it was ready. We figured that at least that way, we wouldn't all be sitting around hungry. The food wasn't hot when it was served and the bathrooms are disgusting.

Went here and was seated after a 5 minuet wait. Service was fast. I had the Belgium waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon. My only grip was the bacon was over cooked and very hard and the coffee was watered down, not strong enough at all. But it was a pleasant atmosphere and experience and very good service.

This was my first IHOP experience and I thought it was okay. The price is just right for breakfast and they have tons of options but I'm not crazy about the fruit toppings on everything. I did like the bottomless tropical mixed drink they had. Next time I will try the omelets and just plain pancakes. The food does come out really fast!

Typical IHOP, which means you get a lot of food, and a lot of people waiting to be seated on a Saturday morning. I thought there would be no way they could seat us in the 20 minutes they said they would, but they did. Everything came out on time, and was as expected.
